Hi Friends

I just finished some regular and mini Martin Motors for our Smiles For Miles program.

The painted cars are done with the new (to me) metallic paints, and the two tone brown were done by baking the bottom half of each car.  Both sets of cars were finished with Poly the Cynthia's Magic Beeswax and Mineral Oil Paste.

We are hoping these will bring smiles to some little faces.

Ken - Your Martin Motors will definitely bring smiles. Very nice display of using three (3) different woods. I think I am seeing Red Wood, Oak and Pine. Excellent photography work also.

The Martin Motors car set from Toymakingplans.com is just about as easy as the Play Pals are.  Fun and quick to make.  For the mini Martin Motors I just print the patterns at 50%.

You are right on about the wood Udie.
